COLOUR ME GOLD

A BBIPOC concert, Black and Brown Market, and creative experience, Colour Me GOLD, on April 9 (Easter Sunday). The event will feature the Latin grammy-nominated alt.-rockers Making Movies as a headline and the national act, and Mexican-American singer Irene Diaz.

The family-friendly event will open doors at 3 p.m. where concert-goers can enjoy a local Black and Brown Vendor Market, Local Food Vendors, and standout East San José poet, Yosimar Reyes, who will recite poems before each act. The concert will begin promptly at 5 p.m. at MHP’s 500-seat theater and will continue through 8 p.m. While four different ticket price points might seem confusing, the event’s pricing and perks are actually a refreshing offering, and are meant to center accessibility. The ticket pricing and benefits are highlighted below.
